Fluffy poached meringue floating on creamy vanilla custard—delicate and dreamy!
Ingredients:
• 4 egg whites
• 500ml milk
• 100g sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt
• Almond slivers and caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Heat milk in a wide saucepan with vanilla.
2️⃣ Beat egg whites with salt, gradually add sugar, and whip to stiff peaks.
3️⃣ Poach spoonfuls of meringue in simmering milk for 1 minute per side.
4️⃣ Remove and drain, then use milk to make custard with yolks (not listed but traditionally used).
5️⃣ Serve meringues over custard, drizzle with caramel, and sprinkle almonds!
