- 1 package phyllo pastry cups
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Honey for drizzling
📝 Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Place the phyllo pastry cups on a baking sheet.
3. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water to make the syrup. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes.
4. In another pan, melt the butter and add chopped pecans, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Cook for 5 minutes until the pecans are fragrant.
5. Fill each phyllo cup with the pecan mixture.
6. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Drizzle the caramel syrup over the cups and finish with a drizzle of honey.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
