Spicy Cajun Steak & Cheesy Linguine Pasta Skillet
Ingredients:
2 boneless rib-eye steaks (or any preferred steak cut), thinly sliced
12 oz linguine pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the Steak: In a bowl, toss the sliced steak with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Add the Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese, mixing until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
Combine the Pasta and Steak: Add the cooked linguine pasta to the skillet and toss it with the creamy cheese sauce until fully coated. Return the cooked steak slices to the skillet and gently mix everything together.
Serve: Plate the cheesy Cajun steak pasta in bowls, garnished with fresh parsley.
