This rich, chocolate decadence is an American classic confection. Fudge first appeared in the late 1880’s, and various recipes have been concocted ever since. With its primary ingredients being milk, butter, and sugar - how you can go wrong!
Fudge
1 7oz jar of marshmallow Fluff
1 5oz can of evaporated milk
¼ cup butter
1 ½ cup sugar
Pinch of salt
1 package of chocolate chips
½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans, optional.
Place all ingredients into a medium saucepan, bring to boil, stirring constantly. Continue cooking for 5 minutes on medium heat. Remove from heat; add one package of milk chocolate chips, stirring until melted. Fold in nuts. Pour into a buttered 8x8x2 pan. Chill in the refrigerator until set.
