🎄 Festival Cookie Lasagna 🎄
Ingredients
• 450 grams chocolate chip cookies (or any soft, chewy cookie), crushed into fine crumbs
• 180 grams unsalted butter, melted
• 480 ml heavy whipping cream
• 240 ml sweetened condensed milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 300 grams M&M’s (red, green, and brown) — divided
• 100 grams chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for crunch)
• 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Pan
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Line the bottom with parchment paper, leaving overhang on two sides to help lift the lasagna later.
Make the Crust Layer
In a medium bowl, combine the crushed cookies and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and clump together when pressed. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan using the back of a spoon or measuring cup. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to set.
Whip the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream on high speed until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, continuing to beat until the mixture is thick, smooth, and holds stiff peaks. Fold in half of the M&M’s and chopped nuts (if using) for a festive swirl.
Layer the Dessert
Spread half of the whipped cream mixture evenly over the chilled crust. Sprinkle with another layer of crushed cookies (about 100 grams), then top with the remaining whipped cream. Smooth the surface gently with an offset spatula.
Add the Finishing Touches
Scatter the remaining M&M’s across the top in a decorative pattern. For extra texture, sprinkle a light layer of additional cookie crumbs around the edges. Optional: dust lightly with powdered sugar for a snowy effect.
Chill & Set
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to firm and flavors to meld.
Serve with Style
Use the parchment overhang to lift the entire block onto a cutting board. Slice into squares with a sharp knife dipped in hot water for clean cuts. Serve chilled and enjoy the festive crunch and creamy sweetness.
