Beer Brats
I bottle Guinness Stout
2 Tablespoons butter
1 sweet onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
6 - 8 Spicy-Hot Bratwurst
Melt butter in frying pan, add beer, onions and garlic. Let simmer until onions are almost transparent. Add brautwurst and continue to simmer until brautswurst are cooked. Use a fork to flip the brauts in the beer mixture to cook evenly. Remove brats and place under broil for 4-5 minutes, or until crispy.Again turning brats to cook evenly. Return sausage to beer mixture and simmer 5 more minutes. Serve on hot dog buns with beer simmered onions & hot mustard. ❤
