Delicious and Savory Sauce!
1. Beef Stirfry in Brown Sauce
Ingredients:
1 pound Sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 large sweet onion, sliced
1 inch size ginger, minced
4 cloves garlic minced
Oil for frying
Marinade:
1 tsp Shaoxing cooking wine
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp oil
1 tsp cornstarch
Sauce:
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp Shaoxing cooking wine
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp cornstarch
Steps:
In a large bowl, add sliced beef. Add the marinade and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
While marinating, prepare the stir fry sauce. Combine all ingredients into a small bowl.
In a large pan, fry the beef. Add 2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil and fry the beef for about 3-4 minutes. Do not overcook cook. Remove immediately from the pan.
Add 1 tablespoon oil, saute ginger till fragrant. Then, add the sliced onion. Stirfry till soft and slightly browned. Add the garlic, then, Slowly pour the sauce. Mix well till thickened. Add the fried beef. Mix well to combine for about a minute. Ready to serve. Enjoy!
2. My Restaurant Style Lo Mein Sauce
Just mix all ingredients into a bowl to make a sauce. Let it boils and thickens in a saucepan.
Recipe:
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp Oyster sauce
2 tbsp Sesame oil
1 tbsp Brown sugar
1/2 cup Water
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cornstarch
This sauce is good for 1 pack of noodles. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Stirfry everything with oil and garlic and your vegetables of choice or meat of choice.
No need to add salt! When you’re ready, add hot noodles or stir fry veggies to your sauce pan and mix it well until fully coated. Garnish with green onions. Enjoy!
