🥦 Orecchiette con Broccoli
Orecchiette con Broccoli is a classic dish from Puglia, where small “ear-shaped” pasta is tossed with broccoli, garlic, and olive oil for a simple, rustic flavor.
Ingredients
• Orecchiette: 12 oz (340 g)
• Broccoli: 1 head, cut into florets
• Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
• Olive oil: 3 tbsp
• Red pepper flakes: optional
• Parmesan cheese: for serving
Instructions
1️⃣ • Boil broccoli florets in salted water for 5 minutes.
2️⃣ • Remove broccoli and cook pasta in the same water until al dente.
3️⃣ • Heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic (and red pepper flakes if using).
4️⃣ • Add broccoli and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
5️⃣ • Toss in drained pasta, mixing well.
6️⃣ • Serve with Parmesan cheese.
