Classic Beef Chow Mein
Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 cups chow mein noodles
1 bell pepper, julienned
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup bean sprouts
2 scallions, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then set aside.
In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over high heat. Add the beef slices and stir-fry until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the garlic, onion, and bell pepper to the wok. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the vegetables are just tender.
Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to the wok. Toss everything together and cook for another 2 minutes.
