One-Pan Honey Garlic Steak with Cheddar Pasta

Ingredients:

1½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
3 tbsp honey
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
12 oz penne or rotini pasta
3 cups beef broth (or water + bouillon)
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup heavy cream (or milk for lighter option)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear until browned on all sides, about 3–4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Stir in the honey and red pepper flakes, then return the steak to the pan. Toss to coat in the honey garlic mixture. Remove the steak once coated to avoid overcooking.
Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the uncooked pasta. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Stir in heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan. Mix until melted and creamy. Add a splash of extra broth if needed.
Return the steak to the pan and stir to combine. Let everything heat through for another 1–2 minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
