Spicy Stir-Fry with Beef and Noodles 🌶️🥢
Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
8 oz egg noodles
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
1 tsp sesame oil
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef and set it aside.
In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add bell peppers and onion, and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
Add garlic and ginger, cook for another 1 minute until fragrant.
Return the beef to the skillet. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil.
Add cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together until evenly coated and heated through.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if using.
Serve hot and enjoy the spicy goodness!
