Ingredients:

For the Meat Sauce:
500g ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Bechamel Sauce:
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
3 cups milk
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Other Ingredients:
9 lasagna sheets (pre-cooked or boiled as per package instructions)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:

Prepare the Meat Sauce:
Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onions and garlic until soft.
Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Stir in tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Prepare the Bechamel Sauce:
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add flour and whisk for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually pour in milk while whisking continuously to prevent lumps.
Add salt and nutmeg, then cook until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Lasagna:
In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce.
Place lasagna sheets on top.
Add a layer of meat sauce, followed by a layer of bechamel sauce.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of bechamel sauce.
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Serve:
Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
