Baileys ferrero Rocher Fantasy Trifle

Hazelnut Crumble:
1 1/2 cups of toasted hazelnuts π°
15 Maria cookies πͺ
Silky Pastry Cream:
4 1/2 cups of milk, divided π₯
1 cup of sugar π¬
1/4 cup of cornstarch π½
6 egg yolks π₯
Hazelnut Mousse:
1 1/2 cups of toasted hazelnuts π°
1/4 of the whipped cream π¨
Nutella Mousse:
1 1/2 cups of Nutella π«
1/4 of the whipped cream π¨
Whipped Cream:
1 quart (4 cups) of cold heavy cream π₯
3/4 cup of confectioner's sugar π¬
Assembly:
20 Ferrero Rocher chocolates, halved π«
5 to 10 Ferrero Rocher chocolates for decoration π«

1οΈβ£ Hazelnut Crumble: Pulse the hazelnuts π° and Maria cookies πͺ in a food processor until they form fine, crunchy crumbs. Set aside for later layering.
2οΈβ£ Creamy Pastry Base: Heat 4 cups of milk π₯ with sugar π¬ in a saucepan until it's steaming. In another bowl, whisk the remaining milk with cornstarch π½ and egg yolks π₯. Slowly add a bit of the hot milk into the yolk mix to temper it, then combine everything back in the saucepan and cook until thick. Split this silky mixture into two bowls to cool.
3οΈβ£ Hazelnut Mousse: Create hazelnut butter π° by blending toasted hazelnuts until smooth. Mix with one portion of the cooled pastry cream. Cover with plastic wrap, making sure it touches the surface to prevent skin from forming, and chill for 4 hours or overnight. Fold in 1/4 of the whipped cream π¨ just before assembling.
4οΈβ£ Nutella Mousse: Blend Nutella π« with the second portion of the cooled pastry cream. Just like the hazelnut mousse, cover and chill, then fold in another 1/4 of the whipped cream π¨ before assembling.
5οΈβ£ Whipped Cream Magic: Whip the cold heavy cream π₯ and confectioner's sugar π¬ until you get stiff peaks. Divide this into four partsβtwo for the hazelnut and Nutella mousses, and two for layering and topping the trifle.
6οΈβ£ Assemble Your Dream Trifle: Start with a layer of the hazelnut crumbs π° at the bottom of a trifle dish. Next, spread the Nutella mousse π«, followed by a layer of halved Ferrero Rocher chocolates π«. Add the hazelnut mousse π°, and top it all with a generous layer of whipped cream π¨. Finish with more Ferrero Rocher chocolates for decoration π
