Cajun Garlic Steak Bites with Cheesy Tortellini Pasta
Ingredients:
1.5 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
3 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
18 oz cheese tortellini
Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Directions:
Start by seasoning your steak bites with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss them until evenly coated. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then add the steak bites. Let them sear for 2–3 minutes per side until they're golden and cooked to your liking. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Let the sauce simmer gently, stirring until smooth and cheesy.
Meanwhile, cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and add it straight into the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat, then gently fold in the cooked steak bites.
Let everything warm through for a couple minutes so the flavors come together. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot for a bold, creamy, and cheesy Cajun dinner.
