🥩🧀 Cheesesteak Tortellini Skillet
🛒 Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or shaved steak
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1/2 onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: red pepper flakes for heat, parsley for garnish
👩🍳 Directions:
Cook the Tortellini:
Boil the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Veggies:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add bell peppers and onions and sauté until soft. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
Brown the Meat:
Add ground beef or shaved steak to the skillet. Cook until fully browned, then season with salt and pepper.
Add Liquids:
Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in the cooked tortellini.
Get Cheesy:
Sprinkle in the shredded cheese and stir until melted and creamy. Let simmer for a couple of minutes to thicken slightly.
Serve It Up:
Garnish with chopped parsley or a pinch of red pepper flakes if you like some kick!
