Grilled Bone-In Steaks with Rosemary
Ingredients:
For the Steaks:
3 bone-in ribeye steaks (or your preferred bone-in cut)
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish
For Optional Herb Butter:
4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
½ tsp lemon zest
Salt, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Herb Butter (Optional):
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.
Mix well until everything is incorporated. Set aside for later.
Grill the Steaks:
Preheat your grill to high heat. Clean and oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel to ensure a good sear.
Rub each steak with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Place the steaks on the grill, and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust according to your preferred level of doneness. Rotate the steaks halfway through cooking on each side to create the crisscross grill marks.
When done, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
Serve the Steaks:
Arrange the steaks on a metal tray, adding a light sprinkling of coarse sea salt for extra flavor.
Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs around the steaks for a rustic presentation.
If desired, serve the steaks with a dollop of the prepared herb butter on top for extra richness.
Enjoy your perfectly grilled bone-in steaks with a savory, aromatic finish!
