Crunchy, nutty, and rustic—this traditional Mantuan dessert is perfect with coffee or wine!

📝 You will need:
• 200 g all-purpose flour
• 100 g cornmeal (fine polenta)
• 150 g sugar
• 150 g cold butter, cubed
• 100 g almonds, roughly chopped
• 1 egg yolk
• Zest of 1 lemon
• Pinch of salt

👩‍🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ In a bowl, mix the flour, cornmeal, sugar, and salt.
2️⃣ Add cold butter and rub with fingers until crumbly.
3️⃣ Mix in almonds, lemon zest, and egg yolk—don’t overwork!
4️⃣ Pour the mixture into a greased tart pan and press lightly.
5️⃣ Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 35–40 minutes until golden.
6️⃣ Let cool completely. Break into rustic chunks and serve!
