One-Pot Beef and Bowtie Pasta in Tomato Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil for sautéing
Fresh basil leaves, torn (for garnish)
Red pepper flakes (for a spicy kick)
Sautéed mushrooms, sliced (for added texture)
Mozzarella pearls (for creamy bites)
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
2. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Stir in diced tomatoes, heavy cream, beef broth, and tomato paste. Bring to a simmer.
4. Add the pasta to the pot and cook according to the package instructions, stirring occasionally.
5. Season with dried basil, salt, and pepper.
6. Once the pasta is cooked and the sauce has thickened, stir in sautéed mushrooms and red pepper flakes.
7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and mozzarella pearls before serving.
