Decadent Double Chocolate Loaf Cake π«π«
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2β3 minutes).
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Mix in the sour cream until fully combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix just until combinedβdonβt overmix!
Fold in the chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 50β60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are okay).
Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
