Steak Foil Packets with Garlic Butter Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of beef steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound of baby potatoes, halved
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2. In a small bowl, melt the unsalted butter and mix in the minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.
3. Place the halved baby potatoes in the center of a large piece of foil. Drizzle half of the garlic butter mixture over the potatoes, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
4. Add the beef steak pieces on top of the potatoes. Drizzle the remaining garlic butter mixture over the steak and season with more salt and pepper if desired.
5. Fold the foil over the ingredients to create a sealed packet, making sure it’s tightly closed.
6. Place the foil packet on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the steak is cooked to your liking.
7. Carefully open the foil packet (watch out for steam!) and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the foil packet, like bell peppers or carrots, for more flavor and nutrition.
Serve with a fresh salad for a complete meal.
