🇮🇹 Stuffed Shells
Stuffed shells are a comforting baked pasta dish filled with creamy ricotta, spinach, and herbs, then covered with tomato sauce and melted cheese. A hearty favorite for family dinners!
Ingredients:
• Jumbo pasta shells
• Ricotta cheese
• Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
• Spinach (fresh or frozen)
• Parmesan cheese
• Marinara sauce
• Garlic, minced
• Italian herbs (basil, oregano, parsley)
• Olive oil
• Salt and pepper
Instructions:
1️⃣ • Cook the pasta shells until al dente, then drain and cool.
2️⃣ • In a bowl, mix ricotta, spinach, Parmesan, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper.
3️⃣ • Fill each shell with the ricotta mixture.
4️⃣ • Spread marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
5️⃣ • Arrange the stuffed shells on top of the sauce.
6️⃣ • Cover with more marinara and sprinkle mozzarella.
7️⃣ • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
