🛒 Ingredients:
For the Beef Filling:
✔ 1 lb ground beef
✔ 2 tbsp Taco Bell-style taco seasoning (or store-bought)
✔ ½ cup water
For the Nacho Cheese Sauce:
✔ ½ cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
✔ ¼ cup heavy cream or milk
✔ ½ tsp taco seasoning (for extra flavor, optional)
For Assembly:
✔ 5 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
✔ 5 small flour tortillas (soft taco-size)
✔ ½ cup refried beans (canned or homemade)
✔ ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
✔ ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
✔ ¼ cup sour cream
🔥 Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart.
Drain excess grease, then stir in taco seasoning and water.
Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
2️⃣ Make the Nacho Cheese Sauce
In a small saucepan, combine Velveeta cheese and heavy cream.
Stir over low heat until smooth.
Mix in ½ tsp taco seasoning for extra flavor (optional).
3️⃣ Heat the Refried Beans
Warm refried beans in a saucepan or microwave until soft and spreadable.
4️⃣ Assemble the Burritos
Place a large flour tortilla on a flat surface.
Spread 2 tbsp refried beans over the center.
Place a small flour tortilla on top of the beans.
Spread 2 tbsp nacho cheese sauce over the small tortilla.
Add ¼ cup seasoned beef on top.
Sprinkle with shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
Add a spoonful of sour cream for creaminess.
Fold in the sides, then roll the burrito tightly.
