Cheesesteak on Garlic Parmesan Bread 🥖🧄🧀
A mouthwatering fusion of garlic bread and Philly cheesesteak, loaded with tender ribeye, caramelized onions, and melted cheeses.
Ingredients:
1 loaf Italian bread
2 teaspoons minced garlic
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 pound ribeye steak
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.​
Prepare Bread: Slice the Italian loaf lengthwise. Place halves cut-side up on the baking sheet.​
Make Garlic Butter: Mix minced garlic, softened butter, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on bread halves.​
Slice Steak: Cut ribeye into thin strips. Season with salt and pepper.​
Cook Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions (and bell peppers, if using) until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Remove and set aside.​
Cook Steak: In the same skillet, cook steak strips until just cooked through, about 2 minutes.​
Assemble: Layer steak, sautéed vegetables, mozzarella, and parmesan on the bread halves.​
Bake: Bake for 12-14 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.​
Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley, slice into portions, and serve warm.​
