Shepherd’s Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.
3. Add frozen peas and carrots, beef broth, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Transfer beef mixture to a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until potatoes are golden brown.
