Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Nut Brownies
Nuts are optional, and can be ommitted if desired. You can use walnuts of pecans. The depth of flavor that these nuts add are so delicious. There is never a brownie left, left all get devoured. They ate perfect for parties, baby showers or sny day of the week. Try them for the football game and watch them
disappear.
~~Ingredients ~~
1 - 1/4 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
2 tsps pure vanilla extract
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Whole Pecans or Whole Walnuts to cover the top of the brownies
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
~~Instructions ~~
Heat oven to 350° F. Prepare pan by adding 2 tablespoons vegetable oil to a 9-inch square baking pan, rub it all over the bottom and sides.
Beat sugar and eggs until well blended, and light and creamy, about 3 -4 minutes. Slowly add the melted butter, mixing until well combined. Add vanilla; mix until combined. Sift together the flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder; gradually mix into mixture. Then fold in the Chocolate pieces and chopped walnuts or pecans. Spread batter in prepared pan. Place whole pecan or walnut pieces on top of the brownie batter. Arrange them so every brownie will have a whole pecan or brownie
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies start to pull away from the edges of pan. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Then slice into squares, ensuring that every piece has it’s on toasted pecan or toasted Walnut. Now, try to control yourself. You can’t eat just one.
