ππ Coquilles Saint-Jacques
Scallops in a creamy wine sauce, topped with breadcrumbs and cheese, then baked in their shells. A festive French starter ππ§β¨.
Ingredients:
β’ 12 scallops
β’ 2 tbsp butter
β’ 1 shallot, chopped
β’ 100 ml white wine
β’ 150 ml cream
β’ 50 g breadcrumbs
⒠50 g Gruyère cheese, grated
β’ Parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1οΈβ£ SautΓ© shallot in butter, add scallops and wine. Cook briefly.
2οΈβ£ Stir in cream and simmer 2 min.
3οΈβ£ Place scallops in shells, top with sauce.
4οΈβ£ Sprinkle breadcrumbs and cheese.
5οΈβ£ Bake at 200Β°C (400Β°F) for 8β10 min until golden. π
