📌 Ingredients:
For the Ribeye Steak:
2 ribeye steaks (1–1.5 inch thick)
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves (crushed)
Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
Garlic Herb Butter:
1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tsp fresh parsley (chopped)
1/2 tsp lemon zest
Salt to taste
For the Smashed Red Potatoes:
1.5 lbs baby red potatoes (halved or quartered)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp sour cream or cream cheese
1/4 cup milk or heavy cream
1/4 cup cooked bacon bits (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
Salt & pepper to taste
Side Salad:
Mixed greens or lettuce blend
Cherry tomatoes (halved)
Shredded cheddar cheese
Red onion (thinly sliced)
Bacon bits
Dressing of choice (ranch or vinaigrette recommended)
Bread Rolls:
Soft dinner rolls or Hawaiian rolls
Optional: Brush with melted butter before serving
🔥 Instructions:Step 1: Make Garlic Herb Butter
Mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.
Roll into a log using parchment paper and chill until firm.
Step 2: Cook the Steak
Bring steak to room temp and season generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Add olive oil.

Chill until ready to serve. Drizzle with dressing when serving.
