🔥 Instructions:Step 1: Make Garlic Herb Butter

Mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.

Roll into a log using parchment paper and chill until firm.

Step 2: Cook the Steak

Bring steak to room temp and season generously with salt and pepper.

Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Add olive oil.

Sear steaks 2-3 minutes per side. Add butter, garlic & herbs.

Spoon the melted butter over steak repeatedly for 1-2 minutes.

Rest for 5 minutes. Top with a slice of garlic herb butter.

Step 3: Make Smashed Potatoes

Boil potatoes until fork-tender. Drain and slightly mash.

Add butter, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, and parsley. Stir.

Fold in bacon bits if using.

Step 4: Prepare Salad

In a bowl, layer greens, tomatoes, onions, bacon, and cheese.

Chill until ready to serve. Drizzle with dressing when serving.

Step 5: Serve It All Up!

Plate the steak with a dollop of garlic butter melting on top.

Add generous scoops of smashed potatoes.

Serve with a fresh side salad and fluffy dinner rolls.

💡 Pro Tip: Want extra sear on that steak? Finish it in a 500°F (260°C) oven for 3-5 minutes after pan-searing for that steakhouse vibe!
