🇫🇷 Brandade de Morue (Creamy Salt Cod Purée) 🐟🥔
A deliciously smooth and garlicky spread from southern France!
📝 Ingredients:
• 400 g salt cod (soaked overnight)
• 2 cloves garlic
• 300 g potatoes, peeled and diced
• 100 ml olive oil
• 100 ml milk
• Pepper & chopped parsley
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Boil soaked cod for 10 minutes. Remove bones and skin.
2️⃣ Cook potatoes until soft and drain.
3️⃣ Mash potatoes and flake the cod into them.
4️⃣ Add garlic, then alternate adding warm milk and olive oil while mixing.
5️⃣ Season with pepper and stir in parsley.
6️⃣ Serve warm with bread or cold as a spread.
