Chicken Alfredo Air Fryer Calzones
Ingredients:
1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup cooked chicken, diced
1/2 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Directions:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or lightly spray it with cooking spray.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into 4 equal rectangles.
In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Place a generous scoop of the chicken Alfredo mixture in the center of each dough rectangle.
Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle or half-moon shape, pressing the edges together to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges for an extra seal.
Brush the tops of the calzones with the beaten egg to achieve a golden crust.
Place the calzones in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked. Depending on your air fryer size, you may need to cook them in batches.
Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a minute before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
