A Flavor Explosion! Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta 🌶️🍗
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning.
3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute.
5. Reduce the heat to medium, then pour in the heavy cream and stir in the paprika, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
6. Add the cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
