🇫🇷 Moules Marinières (Sailor-Style Mussels)
Briny, buttery, and full of wine—these mussels are a quick French favorite!
📝 Ingredients:
• Fresh mussels: 1 kg
• Dry white wine: 200 ml
• Shallots (chopped): 2
• Garlic (minced): 2 cloves
• Butter: 2 tbsp
• Parsley (chopped): 2 tbsp
• Salt & pepper: to taste
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Rinse and scrub mussels, discarding any that are open.
2️⃣ In a large pot, melt butter and sauté shallots and garlic.
3️⃣ Add wine, bring to boil.
4️⃣ Add mussels, cover, and cook for 5–7 minutes until mussels open.
5️⃣ Garnish with parsley and serve with crusty bread.
