Smooth, savory, and perfect for spreading — a classic French starter full of flavor!
📝 You will need:
• 500 g chicken livers
• 100 g butter (divided)
• 1 shallot, minced
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 1 tbsp brandy or cognac
• Salt and pepper
• Fresh thyme
• Baguette or toast, to serve
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Sauté shallots and garlic in 50 g butter until soft.
2️⃣ Add chicken livers, cook until browned but still pink inside.
3️⃣ Add brandy, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 more minutes.
4️⃣ Blend everything until smooth, then stir in remaining butter.
5️⃣ Chill in ramekins and serve with crusty bread.
