Golden Milk Chia Pudding with Orange & Ginger
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Pinch of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Zest of 1 orange
Juice of 1/2 orange
A pinch of sea salt
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the almond milk, maple syrup, turmeric powder, ground ginger, black pepper, vanilla extract, and orange zest. Stir until well mixed.
Add the chia seeds to the mixture and stir to combine, making sure the seeds are evenly distributed.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken.
Once the pudding has set, stir it well and add the orange juice to enhance the citrus flavor.
Serve chilled, garnished with extra orange zest or a sprinkle of ground ginger if desired.
