Ingredients:

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Toppings:

1/2 cup strawberry jam (or your favorite jam)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Fresh strawberries (optional)

Instructions:

Make the Crepe Batter:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. The batter should be thin and pourable. Let it rest for about 20 minutes.

Cook the Crepes:

Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with a small amount of butter or oil.

Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan, swirling the pan to spread the batter thinly and evenly. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges lift and the bottom is golden brown. Flip the crepe and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Remove from the pan and place on a plate. Repeat until all the batter is used, stacking the crepes.

Make the Whipped Cream:

In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

Assemble the Crepes:

Place a crepe on a plate and spread a layer of strawberry jam in the center.

Add a dollop of whipped cream on top of the jam, then fold or roll the crepe.

Serve:

Garnish with fresh strawberries and dust with powdered sugar. Serve immediately.
