Cheesesteak Sandwich
Ingredients:
1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
1 large onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
4 hoagie rolls
4 slices provolone cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp butter
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and bell pepper, cooking until caramelized, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced steak and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
Add the caramelized onions and peppers back into the skillet with the beef. Stir to combine.
Toast the hoagie rolls in a separate pan with butter until golden brown.
Divide the steak mixture between the hoagie rolls. Top each with a slice of provolone cheese, and melt the cheese by covering the sandwiches for 1-2 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
