Cajun Garlic Beef Tortellini in Creamy Parmesan
Ingredients:
1 lb thinly sliced beef (sirloin or flank steak), cut into strips
18 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra depth)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Cook the Tortellini: Boil cheese tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Sear the Beef:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season beef strips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Sear the beef for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Creamy Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in Parmesan, mozzarella, and smoked paprika. Whisk until the sauce is smooth and cheesy.
4. Add cooked tortellini and seared beef to the skillet. Toss to coat in the creamy Cajun garlic Parmesan sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to let everything marry.
5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot—saucy, cheesy, and packed with bold Cajun beef flavor.
