Cajun Honey Butter Salmon
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions:
Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon, skin-side down (if applicable), and sear for 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3–4 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove salmon and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, honey, lemon juice, and smoked paprika. Stir until the butter is melted and the sauce is well combined.
Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over each fillet, letting it simmer for 1–2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
