🍩 Bomboloni
Bomboloni are soft Italian doughnuts coated in sugar, often filled with jam or cream.
Ingredients
• 3 cups all-purpose flour (375 g)
• 1 cup warm milk (240 ml)
• 1 packet active dry yeast (2¼ tsp)
• ¼ cup sugar
• 1 egg
• Oil for frying
• Sugar for coating
Instructions
1️⃣ Combine flour, sugar, yeast, milk, and egg in a bowl.
2️⃣ Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
3️⃣ Let rise 1–2 hours until doubled.
4️⃣ Shape into balls and let rise again.
5️⃣ Fry in hot oil until golden.
6️⃣ Roll in sugar while warm.
7️⃣ Serve plain or filled with jam/cream.
