Dive into the creamy, dreamy world of our Shrimp Fettuccine Pasta tonight! 🍤🍝 Rich, flavorful, and utterly satisfying, it's a gourmet meal that's surprisingly easy to whip up.
Ingredients:

8 ounces fettuccine pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Additional grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Directions:

Cook the Pasta:

Cook fettuccine pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
Cook the Shrimp:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let the sauce simmer until it thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Combine Pasta and Sauce:

Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the sauce, tossing to coat well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
Finish the Dish:

Return the shrimp to the skillet, adding lemon juice and parsley. Toss everything together until heated through.
Serve:

Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of parsley.
