🇫🇷 Galette des Rois (King Cake)
A flaky puff pastry filled with almond cream—traditionally served in January.
Ingredients:
• 1 puff pastry sheet
• 1/2 cup almond cream (frangipane)
• 1 egg (for sealing and glaze)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
2. Roll out pastry and cut two equal circles.
3. Spread almond cream on one, leaving a border.
4. Brush edge with egg and place second circle on top.
5. Seal edges, score the top, and brush with egg.
6. Bake 25–30 minutes until puffed and golden.
