💕😋Decadent Black Forest Cheesecake💕😋
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cherry pie filling
1/2 cup dark chocolate shavings
Whipped cream for topping
Fresh cherries for garnish
Directions:
Start by preheating your oven to 325°F (160°C). This will ensure it's nice and hot for your cheesecake!
In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Mix until it's crumbly and press this delicious mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan. This will be our tasty crust!
In a separate large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until you achieve a smooth, creamy texture. Trust me,
this is the heart of your cheesecake!
One by one, add the eggs to the mixture, ensuring to blend well after each addition. This helps create that fluffy consistency we all love.
Stir in the sour cream until everything is well blended. This will add a lovely richness to your cheesecake.
Now, pour half of this luscious cheesecake mixture over the crust you prepared. Top it off with half of the cherry pie filling – because who doesn’t love cherries?
Next, pour the remaining cheesecake mixture over the cherries, and then finish with the rest of the cherry pie filling. It’s looking good already!
Bake in the preheated oven for about 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and no longer wobbly.
Once baked, let your cheesecake cool completely in the pan. After it’s cooled, spread the whipped cream between layers.
Refrigerate it for at least 4 hours (or overnight, if you can resist!). This is when the flavors really come together!
When you’re ready to serve, top it off with a fluffy cloud of whipped cream, sprinkle some dark chocolate shavings, and add fresh cherries for an impressive finish.
