Simple & Savory Baked Almond and Chia Seed Cracker Recipe 👩‍🍳💪

Ingredients:
1.5 cups (168g) almond flour, finely ground
1/4 cup (36g) chia seeds
1/4 cup (30g) ground flaxseed (flax meal)
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
1/4 cup (60ml) water
2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil or avocado oil
Optional topping: Flaky sea salt, sesame seeds, poppy seeds

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, chia seeds, ground flaxseed, fine sea salt, garlic powder (if using), and onion powder (if using).
3. Add the water and olive oil (or avocado oil) to the dry ingredients. Stir with a spatula or wooden spoon until a dough starts to form.
4. Use your hands to bring the dough together into a ball. It should be pliable but not overly sticky. If it seems too dry, add a teaspoon of water; if too sticky, add a teaspoon of almond flour.
5. Place the dough ball between two sheets of parchment paper. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out as thinly as possible, aiming for about 1/16 to 1/8 inch (1.5-3 mm) thickness. Thinner dough makes crispier crackers.
6. Remove the top sheet of parchment paper. If desired, lightly brush the dough with a tiny bit of water or oil and sprinkle with flaky sea salt or seeds.
7. Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the dough into desired cracker shapes (squares, rectangles, diamonds). You don't need to separate them yet.
8. Carefully slide the parchment paper with the scored dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
9. Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crackers feel firm. Baking time varies greatly depending on thickness, so watch closely to prevent burning. You might need to remove crackers from the edges earlier if they brown faster.
10. Let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to finish cooling. They will crisp up more as they cool.
11. Once cool, break the crackers apart along the score lines. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
