Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta with Garlic Butter Parmesan Sauce

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
12 oz penne pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear until golden and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
Return cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Let simmer 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
