Balsamic Glazed Beef with Spinach Linguine

Savory Balsamic Beef with Fresh Spinach Linguine

Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced

8 oz (225g) spinach linguine

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

1 tablespoon honey

3 tablespoons olive oil, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Grated Parmesan (optional for serving)

Directions:

Cook spinach linguine according to package directions. Drain, drizzle with a little olive oil to prevent sticking, and set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, honey, and black pepper to create the glaze.

Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add beef slices to the skillet, season with salt, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using. Sear the beef for 2-3 minutes on each side until nicely browned.

Pour the balsamic glaze over the beef and cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat the beef evenly as the sauce thickens.

Toss the cooked spinach linguine into the skillet, mixing to absorb the flavorful glaze.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan if desired.
