Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 refrigerated pizza dough (16 oz)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Sesame seeds (for topping, optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped bacon, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about ¼ inch thick. Cut the dough into squares, roughly 4x4 inches.
4. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of each dough square.
5. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal tightly. Turn the bombs seam-side down and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
6. Brush the tops of the bombs with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
8. Remove from the oven, let them cool slightly, and serve warm. Enjoy!
