🧀 Cheesy Beef Lasagna Skillet
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 (24 oz) jar pasta sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
3 cups water or beef broth
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1️⃣ Brown the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned and onion is soft.
Drain excess grease. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
2️⃣ Add Sauce & Seasoning:
Stir in pasta sauce, salt, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
3️⃣ Add Noodles & Liquid:
Add broken lasagna noodles and pour in water or beef broth. Stir to combine.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender and sauce is thickened.
4️⃣ Add Ricotta & Cheeses:
Drop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese over the top. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Cover and cook for 3–5 more minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
5️⃣ Serve:
Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.
