Savory Cajun Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Linguine Pasta

Ingredients:
For the Cajun Chicken:
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Creamy Parmesan Linguine:
8 oz linguine pasta

2 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:
Cook linguine according to package directions. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.

In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Toss chicken with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Sear chicken strips for 5–6 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Add red pepper flakes if using.

Toss cooked linguine into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen. Season with salt and pepper.

Plate the pasta, top with Cajun chicken, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
