Easy Cherry Bars 😋
🍒 Ingredients:
• 1 cup butter (softened)
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 4 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 tsp almond extract
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 cans (21 oz each) cherry pie filling
For the Glaze:
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 tsp almond extract
• 2-3 tbsp whole milk
🍒 Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2️⃣ Cream together butter, sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
3️⃣ Add eggs, vanilla, and almond extract; mix until smooth.
4️⃣ Gradually add flour, mixing until well combined.
5️⃣ Spread 2 cups of dough into a greased 15x10-inch pan, then top with cherry pie filling.
6️⃣ Drop remaining dough by teaspoonfuls over the filling.
7️⃣ Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
8️⃣ Cool, then drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar, vanilla, almond extract, and milk.
