Would you eat this Bacon Pork Chops with Dijon Mustard Cream Sauce ?
Ingredients:
For the Pork Chops:
4 bone-in pork chops
6 slices of bacon
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Dijon Mustard Cream Sauce:
1 tablespoon butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon whole grain mustard
1/4 cup chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Prepare the Pork Chops: Season the pork chops with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Wrap each pork chop with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if needed.
Cook the Pork Chops: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon-wrapped pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, and chicken broth. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine: Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Let them simmer for 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot with your choice of sides.
