Oven Baked Ribs & BBQ Sauce Recipes 🤤👌🏽
#Ingredients:
1 full Slab of Pork Baby Back Ribs (look for meatier, longer lengthy slabs)
1 Cup of your favorite Bbq Sauce or try mine below
1 Cup for Rub you’ll need:
1 Tablespoon of each: Smoked Paprika, Salt, Pepper, Garlic Salt, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder
Dried Mustard, Cumin, Sugar and Brown Sugar
#Directions:
1. Heat oven to 500°
2. Remove membrane lining on back side of pork slab or leave on. Next, rinse and lightly pat dry ribs. Blend your seasonings then sprinkle half over top portion and rub in, repeat on both sides.
3. In a foil pan, add a foil lining. Place ribs, meat side up on foil. Roast for 30 minutes on middle rack, uncovered.
4. Remove after 30 minutes then add half your BBQ sauce to both sides (see my recipe below or use your favorite)
5. Lower oven temperature to 375° and cover ribs VERY TIGHTLY with foil. Seal all sides of foil over ribs as to not let any steam escape.
6. Place back in oven and cook for 2-3 hours. Remove foil gently and carefully place ribs onto a cutting board. Add more sauce if desired. Let ribs sit 5 minutes, then slice between the bone, serve.
7. *Optional step: When done, carefully remove foil and place on heated bbq grill to sear for 6 minutes per side to give ribs a smoky flavor. Add more bbq sauce as ribs are grilling. Slice or cut into half slabs (as shown in pic) last, serve hot.
